Dear All
I would like to bring your attention to four opportunities to conduct
research into eParticipation. I have vacancies for two Postdoctoral
Researchers and two PhD Scholarships in eParticipation at the Centre for
Digital Citizenship at the University of Leeds in the UK. These are:
-Research Associate for Demo-net Network of Excellence project -Research
Associate for an EU e-Participation Study -PhD Scholarship investigating
the place for argument visualisation in structuring political
discussion.
-PhD Scholarship exploring digital storytelling and political
engagement.
The Centre, in the Institute of Communications Studies, is co-directed
by myself and Professor Stephen Coleman. Its research focuses on public
communication in an era of digital media, bringing together work on
e-democracy, participation and deliberation, new media and political
efficacy.
