Short link
A few questions:
1. Which candidate or local party has the best campaign website or strategy
this election?
2. Which local media sites (or other group) has a full "voter guide" online
other than simple candidate names by party?
A few sightings:
* In Brighton and Hove, E-Democracy.Org is pushing simple candidate biography
sharing via their local Issues Forum:
http://forums.e-democracy.org/groups/bh/messages/topics.html
Suggestion: Change election laws to require campaign e-mail address and
telephone number on the candidate filing forms. The local parties don't seem to
have passed on our simple invite - http://tinyurl.com/yrrqtu - and postal
addresses are so 20th Century. (MN has e-mail on candidate filing, so in
Minnesota we gain easy access to candidates.)
* Election Directory - This seems to have worked:
http://www.e-democracy.org/wiki/Brighton_and_Hove_city_elections_2007
* http://www.vote-2007.co.uk/ - Very active
* http://www.dopolitics.co.uk - Is anyone from the Electoral Commission on this
site?
