Hi

Not sure if anyone on this list can help me, but I am looking for some
hosting that's capable of running WordPressMU, which isn't too pricey
and provides plenty of bandwidth.

If anyone can offer something like this, or knows someone that does,
I'd appreciate it. I'd prefer to go with someone small and independant
if possible.

But I don't really understand the technical implications so if you
want to be assured you should talk to Simon Dickson who is working
with me on a few projects that use Wordpress. You can contact him
through his site www.puffbox.com.

I'd recommend without hesitation Bytemark, who won't offer a great
dela on the support side but have a great (and cheap) set of hardware.
If yo need something a little lower level, dream-hosting.co.uk is
great value and again, wonderful service.

And mySociety would recommend http://mythic-beasts.com/ , a hosting
company set up by people who couldn't understand why most hosting
companies had to suck so much.

If you want hosts that realy understand blogging and are preset for
wordpress and movable type, i can glowingly recommend livingdot.com -
cheap and amazingly good service. above and beyond. i have hosted
flyglobalmusic.com (big, complex, high traffic site on MT) with them for
years now and i have never had comparable hosting.
