Online Consultations, Dialogues, and E-Participation is an online group for for those involved with government, parliamentary and civic online consultations and events.

The purpose of Online Consultations, Dialogues, and E-Participation is to connect e-participation professionals for knowledge exchange.

Online Consultations, Dialogues, and E-Participation opened 1 January 2002 and will run on an ongoing basis.

Membership and Roles

Participation Guidelines

Participants in Online Consultations, Dialogues, and E-Participation agree to:

  • A focus on the online consultation practices
  • Items related to research must be within the forum's scope - research items of a general nature belong in the Research Network online group
  • Announcements not related to the topic may result in your removal from the forum
  • contribute value publicly via forums and to not reply to other participants off-line with commercial solicitations (you must share value publicly so people come to you if you provide services)
  • follow the effective participation practices in the Participation Guide

All public and private forums hosted by Democracies Online seek to make a positive contribution to democracy, good governance, and citizen participation. Participants using a forum outside the scope of their stated purpose may have their access to a forum limited upon notification by a representative of Democracies Online.
